Terms of use.

The rules for using Aldira, written as clearly as possible. Aldira helps you organize; it does not make payments. Each person pays as usual.

1Acceptance

These terms govern your use of Aldira, an app by Moedra Labs. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms and our Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use Aldira.

2What Aldira is

Aldira is an organizational tool for a household to coordinate responsibilities: chores, maintenance and dated commitments, including bills. It shows what needs attention, who is handling it and what is done.

Aldira is not a financial service. It does not process payments, move money, connect to banks or calculate debts between people. Marking something “paid” is a record made by a household member; it does not confirm payment with the provider.

Each person remains responsible for completing responsibilities and making payments on time. Alerts and reminders are helpful tools, not a guarantee.

3Your account

  • You must be at least 13. If you are a minor where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
  • Your account information must be accurate and current.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity on your account.

4Homes and members

  • The person who creates a home is its administrator and may share its invitation code.
  • Anyone with the code can preview and join the home. Share it only with people you live with.
  • All members can view and update household responsibilities. When someone takes a responsibility (“I'll handle it”), it is reserved under their name for 15 minutes.
  • Disagreements between household members are their responsibility; we do not mediate them.

5Your content

What you enter in Aldira, including responsibility names, amounts and notes, belongs to you. You allow us to store it and show it to members of your home only to provide the service.

6Acceptable use

Do not use Aldira for illegal activities, harassment, unauthorized access to another home or account, or interference with the service. Do not include passwords, full card numbers or other sensitive information in notes.

7Subscriptions

Aldira offers a free plan for up to 2 people per household, with limited tasks and monthly repetition. Cycles of 3, 6 or 12 months are available in the full plan. The full plan allows up to 8 people and unlimited tasks for $4.99 USD per month or $49.99 USD per year. The subscription is per household and is managed through Apple or Google.

  • Your Apple or Google account is charged when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • You can manage or cancel it through your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion ends when you purchase a subscription.
  • A subscription belongs to the home: if one member pays, everyone in that home can access the included features.
  • Apple or Google handles refunds under its policies.

The price, period and included features are shown before you buy.

8Intellectual property

The Aldira app, brand, logo, design and code belong to Moedra Labs. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your devices.

9Availability and changes

We work to keep Aldira available, but maintenance or failures may cause interruptions. We may change, improve or remove features. If a change significantly affects you, we will give advance notice.

10Limitation of liability

Aldira is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for missed or late payments, fees, service disconnections, disputes between household members or indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

11Termination

You may stop using Aldira and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, notifying you when possible.

12iOS conditions

If you downloaded Aldira from the App Store, these terms are between you and Moedra Labs, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its support or maintenance, or claims relating to it. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies where it does not conflict with these terms.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador. Disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of El Salvador where the law permits, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights or forums available to you.
